The mission of the Youth Empowerment Project is:
“By providing intensive case management, mentoring and educational services to at-risk New Orleans youth, we will strengthen each young person’s capacity to successfully connect with his or her family and community and lay the foundation for a healthy transition to adulthood.”
Expanding from operating one program and serving 25 youth only seven years ago – YEP now offers six programs and serves 950 youth annually. Throughout this growth, YEP has maintained true to our mission of providing high quality, culturally competent services to some of New Orleans’ most vulnerable youth.
